Vintage Dappled Things: Select Reprints Now Available

Founded in 2005, Dappled Things is fast approaching its twentieth anniversary—hard data that serves as a memento mori for the magazine’s veteran editors and production staff. Wasn’t 2005 just yesterday?

Many advantages come with age, however, including the right to label one’s own work as vintage. There’s Dappled Things, which is in its prime. Then there’s vintage Dappled Things, which is dated but cool. (Or whatever synonym for cool is being used these days. Speak up, sonny, I can’t hear you.) Reading our back issues is akin to finding a circa 1991 Nirvana t-shirt at a thrift store—one’s throwback outfit goes beyond fashion and assumes the status of a relic.

Here’s your chance to catch up on past issues. Reprints of SS. Peter and Paul 2007, Mary, Queen of Angels 2007, and Advent 2007 are now available for purchase in our store. Contributors include Richard John Neuhaus, Colleen Carroll Campbell, Michael D. O’Brien, Peter Kreeft, James V. Schall, Daniel Mitsui, and other luminaries.

Quantities are limited. We are open to reprinting these and other back issues in the future, should we see enough interest.
