The Literature You Save May Be Your Own

Many Dappled Things readers know about Wiseblood Books, the awesome press founded by Joshua Hren, who also serves as an associate editor for DT. The press is not formally associated with us, but it is publishing some really marvelous, well-produced books, many by authors previously featured in Dappled Things, including Dana Gioia, Karen Ullo, James Matthew Wilson, Kaye Park Hinckley, Annabelle Moseley, and moreTheir works range from novels and poetry collections to critical essays and reprints of classic works. They are nearing the end of their fundraising campaign, currently sitting at 73% of their funding goal, and could really use some help getting over the edge. If you love Dappled Things, if you think quality literature that is consonant with the Catholic tradition deserves a chance, please consider donating to them today.

Here's our own managing editor, Karen Ullo, making a case for Wiseblood (with whom she published her novel, Jennifer the Damned).
